June 22, 2024 Public Service Announcement

6:50 p.m. Facebook Post:  Late this afternoon, our DPW Director found several children swimming in a storm water pond off Spring Street near the community center. We are thankful that everyone is okay, but our DPW Director did note that one of the children swimming in the middle struggled to get out. This is a reminder to parents to talk with your children about the dangers of storm water ponds. There are pipes that a child could be sucked into, particularly with the rate of water flow that we are experiencing right now.
