Waupun Area Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies Scheduled

The Waupun Area Memorial Day parade will be held on Monday May 28th, 2018 at 9:00 am on Main St. in Waupun. The Parade leads from St. Joseph Catholic church to Shaler Park where Ceremonies will be held at 10 AM to honor our past military personal who have served and died.

The Committee invites businesses, organizations, activity groups, church groups, individuals or any other entity to join the parade to make this a true celebration of those who defended our freedom. Active duty military personnel who are home on leave or furlough are especially invited to join the parade. Please come in uniform. Please arrive at the church by 8:30 for line-up.

The all-volunteer parade committee donates their time and effort to continue the tradition of honoring the meaning of Memorial Day. The committee welcomes new members to help with the effort. Financial assistance is also needed to help cover the costs of the celebration. If you wish to be in the parade or join the committee, contact the City of Waupun at 324-7900 or jenny@cityofwaupun.org or call LaMont Page at 920-296-3040. Financial donations should be taken or sent to Wells Fargo Bank, 37 North Madison Street in Waupun.
